Depuis l'ouverture du Sol Cayo Santa Maria en décembre 2001, la direction de l'Hôtel a délimité une zone de sa plage où le naturisme est toléré. Il s'agit de l'extrémité Ouest (vers la gauche quand face à la mer), APRÈS la dernière passerelle d'accès à la plage. Nous croyons qu'il est important de réaliser que le naturisme à Cayo Santa Maria est rendu possible et continue à exister grâce à une "politique" de tolérance dont font preuve les Cubains, mais aussi grâce au comportement respectueux des touristes. D'où l'importance d'agir de façon responsable et dans le respect mutuel de chacun. D'ailleurs nous avons trouvés à Cayo Santa Maria une co-habitation très pacifique entre naturistes et non-naturistes. It's located at the West end (towards the left when facing the sea) of the property, AFTER the last footbridge to the beach. We think It’s important to realize that naturism in Cayo Santa maria is made possible and continue to exist thanks to a "policy" of tolerance adopted by the Cubans, but also because of the respectful behavior of the tourists. That’s why it’s very important to adopt a responsible attitude in the mutual respect of everyone. Moreover we have found in Cayo Santa Maria a very peaceful cohabitation between the naturists and non-naturists.
