There is a shuttle service runing all day between the 8 hotels, the airport, the discotheque and the village (marina). This service is free and very appreciated and used by the tourists. It is very practical, especially at night, to go to another hotel for dinner. Here's the schedule (january 2001):

Shuttle between the hotels: Every 30 minutes from 09h00 to 23h45. The mini-bus goes from Hotel Sol Club to Villa Capricho, and vice-versa. It leaves the Sol Club at xxh00 and xxh30 and the Capricho at xxh15 and xxh45 stopping at each hotel along the way.


Shuttle to the village:
(Marina, turtle farm)
Leaves the hotel at: 09h00, 10h30, 14h00, 20h00 et 23h30
Returns from the marina are at: 11h30, 13h30, 15h15, 17h15, 01h30 and 02h30


Shuttle to Playa Sirena: Leaves the hotel at: 09h00, 10h30
Returns from Playa Sirena are at: 15h00, 17h00


Shuttle (tractor) to Playa Paraiso: Leaves the hotel at:
09h00, 10h30 and 11h30
Returns from Playa Paraiso are at:
13h30, 15h00 et 17h00

Shuttle to the discotheque: Leaves the hotel at approximately 23h30,returns at 01h30 and 02h30

For the marina (village) or discoteque, you may also take a taxi, it's $2 USD per person (minimum 3 persons) or $6 for one person.

Dune Buggy To stroll around the island you may also rent a vehicule :
  • Scooter 50cc
  • Dune Buggy
  • Jeep

    You can rent a vehicule at hotel Sol Club, hotel Pelicano, or across the street between Hotel Isla del Sur and Villa Iguana (the biggest, more choice)
