Cayo Largo is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! the South coastline is a stretch of more 20 kilometers of marvelous beaches. All have fine white sand and crystal-clear warm turquoise waters. One can walk for hours and hours going East to Playas Blanca, Los Cocos and Tortuga or West to Playas Paraiso or Sirena. The most "crowed" beaches are in front of the Pelicano hotel and at Playa Sirena where tourists from Varadero come to spend the day. Past the Pelicano, going West, the beaches (including Paraiso) are almost deserted. It is the same for the beaches East of Villa Capricho (Playa Blanca, Los Cocos and Tortuga). These are mile after mile of virgin and secluded beaches where you will find pelicanos and other birds, iguanas, turtles, beautiful fishes, and sometime 1 or 2 happy tourist :-)
