Activities The all-inclusive package gives you the opportunity to enjoy all the activities listed below not mather at which hotel you are staying. Some hotels have better facilities and activity program than others but they are closed to each other therefore it's easy to go around the 7 properties and enjoy all that the resort has to offer.

Walking on the beach This is without any doubt one of most popular activity at Cayo Largo. This island is truly a walker paradise with it's 20 km beaches all along the south coastline. Walking is easy because of the fine, soft and white sand, never too hot for the feet. From the hotel resort, if you walk East, you may have to go around some rocks when the beach becomes more narrow. Going West of the resort complex, beaches are wide with no obstacles.

Water sports Cayo Largo offers a very wide variety of water sports. The only nautical club of the resort is on the beach in front of Hotel Pelicano. The all-inclusive package includes the use of non-motorized equipement (1 hour per day per person): kayak, pedal boat, snorkelling gear, surfboard, catamaran, scuba diving lessons in the pool. Other water sports (diving, boat rental, deep sea fishing, sailing, etc.) are also available at the Puerto del Sol marina ($) and at Playa Sirena ($). Horse back riding and bicycle rides You can use bicycles for one hour per day per person, the same thing for horse back riding. There are only 4 horses for all the resort, including the one used by the employee who accompany you for a ride on the beach. If you want to make a ride at a very specific day and time, it is then recommended to reserve the day before.

Fishing I don't know much myself about fishing, but I heard that Cayo Largo is a real fisherman's paradise! You may want to check out this site: Casa Batida Fishing Club. Tennis and volleyball The best place for beach volleyball is at Hotel Pelicano. Many hotels have pool volleyball. Tennis courts are located at: Hotel Pelicano and Hotel Isla Del Sur. With the all-inclusive package, you can play tennis for one hour per day per person, with or without the instructor, who is very good by the way!

Aerobics, dance and spanish lessons Every day dancing lessons are given on the stage near the pool at Hotel Pelicano and at Hotel Isla del Sur. Basic spanish lessons are given at the Pelicano pool bar in the afternoon.

Airplane ride It is possible to do a ride in the small propeller plane called Aerotaxi for a fly over Cayo Largo and surrondings islets. The pilot does a low altitude flight all along the stretch of beach. You will have to pay for this airplane ride, this is not included in the all-inclusive package.

Animation and shows Every day the activities organizers invite you to paticipate in many fun activities. Activities are mostly centralize at Hotel Pelicano and Hotel Isla del Sur, both hotel are their own "Animation" staff. This is also at these 2 hotels that there are shows and dancing every night.

The discotheque There is at Cayo Largo only one discotheque, the Iguana Azul. It is in fact the old airport building that has been converted! A free shuttle bus leave the hotel resort every night around 23h30 to bring you to Iguana Azul. The discoteque is on the main road approximately 10 minutes from the hotels. You can come back with the same free shuttle bus or by taxi ($).
