 Playa Lindamar
This is the beach in front of the hotels located on a shell-shaped inflection on the coast and flanked by white rocks. You will find on this palapas (beach unmbrellas) and lounge chairs (though not enough for everybody). In front of the Hotel Pelicano the beach is very large and this where the nautical club is located. In front of the Villa Lindamar and Hotel Isla Del Sur the beach is a little bit more narrow with some big rocks, this is the best place for snorkelling because there is a coral reef. In front of Villa Iguana the beach is narrow. Going East the beach goes larger again in front of Villa Capricho and beyond. At Villa Carpicho this is the beach where you will find many naturists. It is important to know that after the hurricane season, exposed beaches like the one in front of the Capricho may be much more narrow. When we were there in December 1999, we noticed that some days the water was going all the way to the rocks, leaving almost no dry spots on the sand to put a beach towel, people had to lay down on the rocks overhanging the beach.
