Playa Paraiso Playa Paraiso
This beach well deserves its name of "beach of paradise"! This a secluded beach with glittering white sands and gorgeous turquoise waters . At Playa Paraiso, the sea is usually very calm and shallow. You can walk very far into the crystal-clear sea before having water up to your neck. Please note that there are no beach umbrellas at Paraiso and not very much natural shade. There is a small hut where you will find refreshments and sandwiches (nothing else), this is part of the all-inclusive package.
To go there:
  • By the beach: a 1½ hour walk from the Pelicano or Sol Club hotel.
  • Shuttle: A free shuttle (tractor) leave the hotel resort 3 times a day, 09h00,10h30, 11h30 (Jan. 2001), it takes approximately 20 minutes to reach Playa Paraiso. Returns are at 13h30, 15h00 or 17h00 (Jan. 2001). Taxi ($) are also available.
  • Rented vehicule: Dune Buggy, jeep or scooter 50cc. Take care with scooter because it's a sand trail. Playa Paraiso is approximately 6 km from the Hotel Pelicano. The path to Playa Paraiso is well indicated on the main paved road, the intersection is near hotel Pelicano and Sol Club.
